  • The role of the group ergonomist is to (i) define EssilorLuxottica Ergonomic policy, (ii) develop its related program(s) and tools to be implemented in a standardized way by the sites and also by the various departments or organizations involved in the design of new equipment, machines or processes or of their modifications and (iii) control, with ad hoc measures and KPIs, the effectiveness of these ergonomic programs in reaching the defined excellence level.
  • The group ergonomist is also in charge of promoting ergonomic throughout the company contributing to the improvement of overall working conditions and the change of EHS culture.
  • At least, the group Ergonomist is in charge of keeping updated the company ergonomic programs and tools thru technological watch and best practices benchmarking with public and private institutions or companies.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

Define and update EssilorLuxottica Ergonomic policy:

Conduct technological and regulatory watch for ergonomic:

Develop programs and tools to identify and assess the level of site ergonomic risks in a standardized way:

Leverage the ergonomic best practices across the group:

Define and provide training (in-classroom or on-line/Leonardo) to support the implementation of ergonomic programs:

Define and track ad hoc KPIs to control the effectiveness of implemented programs and tools and to monitor the overall ergonomic performance:

Develop, train and lead the company network of ergonomic correspondents:

Ensure that ergonomic is a project driver for the design or modification of equipment, machines, processes and workstations:

Support teams by coordinating expert knowledge (internal or external/3rd party) when needed:

Participate in trade association, public and industry meetings and benchmark with other companies for updating EssilorLuxottica ergonomic programs to be Best-In

TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE

  • Educational Background in Ergonomics
  • At least
    5 years of experience in
    ergonomics within an Industrial or Retail company:
  • Knowledge of ergonomic principles and associated regulations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in international and complex organization
  • Ability to design policy, risk management programs and practical tools for ergonomic
  • Strong listening and observation skills with ability to understand technical concepts and people's
  • Critical analysis and problem solving attitude
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques
  • Interaction with Equipment manufacturer (providers)
  • Industry background
  • Leadership and Influence skills
  • English fluent is mandatory
