A vacancy for a
Solution Architect (M/F) has arisen within
_Airbus Helicopters Marignane or Donauworth __.You will join the IM (Information Management) Directorate integrating the E2E PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) domain in charge of all digital solutions for Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering & Support Engineering.


You will report to the Head of Support Engineering PSL (Product Service Line) in a context of Process, Methods & Tools strategy for the preparation, authoring and publishing of our Technical Documentation to our customers.


Your main missions will be:


  • Taking part to the TechData New Generation Portfolio in the frame of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
  • Solution Architect or System Architect in order to contribute to the elaboration of the Portfolio Roadmap
  • Performing EndtoEnd architecture assessment for a given topic (EPIC) via Pre-Study / Inception / Exploration (Functional Architecture with IS Impact analysis, Global roadmap,) with associated Proof of Concept
  • Defining future IS architecture and IS convergence strategy.
  • Identify opportunities of improvement
  • Design solution working at scale in line with standard IT architecture design patterns
  • Demonstrate leadership to align stakeholders to build future architecture
  • Ensure Solution operability, performance and robustness
  • Contributing to various deliveries including Requirement definition, Architecture Dossier, Information System modeling

Tasks & accountabilities

  • Performing Pre-Study,
  • Producing EndtoEnd deliverables (architecture dossier),
  • Participating to roadmap definition,
  • Supporting the Business to define requirements in project early phases,
  • Modeling processes and functions,
  • Contributing to Project milestones preparation,
  • Preparing and followingup endtoend functional tests,
  • Supporting actively projects on process and functional expertise.


This role will involve some travel for business (once a month) and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.


Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

  • Educated to a Master degree level in IT,
  • At least 5 years of experience in Business IT projects,
  • IT architecture design pattern
  • IT expertise
  • DEV-OPS expertise
  • Java, Javascript
  • Database: Oracle, SQL, Basegraph
  • Collaborative mindset
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to drive improvement & innovation
  • Knowledge of Airbus context will be appreciated
  • Knowledge of Design (configured Digital Mock-Up (DMU)), Manufacturing (Manufacturing Engineering, Shop floor Execution), Support and Services domains will be appreciated

Language skills:
advanced level of English.
