    Context and challenges of the position

    At our 160-strong Innovation Expertise Centre, we imagine and develop new products, services and concepts to improve the health and nutrition of farm animals.

    The Cinabio site is based in Toulouse, with a team of around 25 people specialising in biotechnologies. The Fermentation team is more specifically responsible for optimising production processes and supporting their industrialisation.

    The Microbiology/Molecular Biology team is responsible for developing strains and improving their performance.

    The Biochemistry/Enzymology team is responsible for enzyme characterisation.

    Missions of the job :

    In the field of biochemistry, enzymology, biocatalysis :

    You are in charge of organizing and carrying out technical projects:

  • you define the research program;
  • you schedule, design, perform and analyze experiments;
  • you supervise the work of technicians and trainees;
  • you ensure the reporting of the project

    • You manage external collaborations

    Your expertise is recognized outside the laboratory; you ensure scientific bibliography, the technical training of collaborators, the scientific and technical animation...

    You contribute to general tasks of the laboratory: writing of processes and protocols, devices maintenance, management of consumables, order and cleanliness...

    Main Skills

    Profile required :

    PhD or engineer degree in biotechnologies, mainly in the fields of biochemistry and enzymology

    5 years' experience in a similar role in a biotech environment (project and technical management)

    you have an appetite for new technologies, and bioinformatics is a welcome addition

    You know how to manage a project budget (performance, cost, deadlines) and to meet deadlines.
