MISSION:

Coordination role for a pool of subcontractors.

The Supply Planner is responsible for organizing the manufacturing campaigns at the subcontractor in line with forecast for the allocated portfolio of SKU's for which she/he is accountable.

The Supply Planner acts as the lead interface to subcontractors' sites to resolve supply issues relating to the production technology for which she/he is responsible.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creation of manufacturing plan for 18 rolling months
Consultation with subcontractor regarding availability of production lines and approval of downtime at subcontractor sites.
Place orders upon Manufacturing plan based upon agreed lead time and capacity availability.
Arrange the transfer of materials to and from tollers as per movement plans.
Manage and confirm customer order availability date to Customer Service department. Give visibility especially in case of delay.
Conduct regular business and performance reviews with subcontractors.
Identify and manage potential inventory obsolescence to minimize write-offs (finished goods and raw materials)
Accountable for master data for Material Planning, Production and coordinate Quality and Compliance with respective department.
Review out of stock situations or shortage of supply issues and recommend mitigating actions types
Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain issues/variances and perform defined corrective action plans to avoid reoccurrence.
Set up inventory targets for Raw Materials and Pack Components and monitor actual inventory levels vs. targets (in co-operation with vendor schedulers)

Calculate a MRP and engage with label coordinator and vendor scheduling team to ensure execution of purchase plans is done on time.

Liaise with Customer service and 4PL
Implement and maintain Inventory and Material Management Strategies for all Finished Goods by regular review and optimization of inventory parameters and levels (e.g. safety stock, MTO / MTF)

Education:
Chemical engineering or Supply Chain degree or equivalent
