As Tax & Legal Intern, you will help the legal team in supporting Back Market's legal operations.

This role involves conducting legal research and ensuring monitoring, reviewing and drafting contracts, assisting in the implementation of tax regulations and providing legal advice to ensure all teams of Back Market are aware of our legal processes.

Your mission (If you accept it):

Perform legal research and ensure legal monitoring
Participate in the drafting and negotiation of contracts with providers
Contribute to the management of global tax affairs of Back Market in all countries
Implement our transfer pricing policy and contribute to our transfer pricing documentation
Answer operational questions about tax matters and build an internal knowledge base and contribute to seller education
Ensure our compliance with Ecocontribution (EPR) regulations

You're at the right place if:

You are an "EFB" student and/or have a DJCE / Master I or Master II in law, ideally in business and tax law
Looking for a 6month internship from mid July 2023 until December

-
English and French are no-brainers (fully professional capability). If you're extra cool and speak more languages, bonus points for you

You already have prior internship experience in a related area, big plus if worked with digital or ecommerce law, privacy law, distribution and competition law, and consumption law
You are endowed with excellent communication skills and a strong capacity for analysis and synthesis

About the Internship:

Starting date is from Mid July/August, 2023
Duration : 6 months
Fulltime internship : 35h/week
Location : Bordeaux, France
You must have an internship agreement provided by your current school
