Exclusive retained role

Well-paid, secure opportunity for an UK or Irish qualified Financial Adviser

€60,000 pa Basic Salary + Relocation Allowance + all visas paid + Bonus (€140,000+ expected earnings in year two)

As an experienced UK Chartered Financial Planner (or close) or Irish Financial Adviser, you have worked hard to qualify, and now your skills are in demand.

You have honed your experience and earned appropriate rewards. Many would envy your lifestyle, but you think there must be more to life.

Our client is a long established, large multi-National International Tax & Financial Planning business employing UK & Irish qualified financial advisers to give tax planning Advice to wealthy expat clients "in situ" across Southern Europe.

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Financial Adviser to work in the Annecy office, in the French Alps, reporting to the Country Manager and working in the office alongside a small team of colleagues.

This is no ordinary advisory role: you will be given a competitive basic salary with all visa costs paid as well as a relocation costs for you and your family, backed by a strong infrastructure of tax planners and other specialist support staff.

You will also be given plenty of time to settle in, with no fee expectation in year 1.

Your role is to be a trusted Financial Planner within the local UK & Irish expat community, developing relationships with and advising wealthy new clients already in country or in the process of relocating abroad (often as they retire).

Our client markets extensively to the core clientele. Each European office also provides networking opportunities by sponsoring local events for expats. These represent a major source of clients.

A typical enquiry will be from an individual or couple planning to retire abroad and those who have already done so.

They will typically have €2-€5M to invest.

Since Brexit, many UK expats who never had to worry about tax before, are having to register with and learn to adapt to new local tax regimes with all the complexity that involves.

Not surprisingly, our client is receiving a high volume of enquiries which are expected to continue for many years.

You will be great at building client relationships and converting leads from a number of sources, including local company sponsored events.

The company has a long-established sourcing model for lead generation and referrals. Self-sourcing will also be important.
