  • What You'll Do
  • Salon 24, located in the iconic Maison de l'Amérique Latine, will host a friendly, upmarket Hospitality Experience in the centre of Paris. Share in the spirit of the Olympic Games where guests will enjoy food and beverages, entertainment, special appearances, activities, and more.
  • The Senior Manager F&B will be part of the On Location Event Production (EPR) department, with support from the Food and Beverage Advisor. This role will be responsible for contract management, serving as liaison for project planning, operational delivery of the Food and Beverage vendor for Salon 2
  • For the Opening Ceremony ( CER1) OL will operate 18 different venues including 5 restaurants, 9 docked boats, 2 bridges, and 2 iconic palaces guests will be hosted.
During the planning phase, the Senior Manager will be responsible for managing Food and Beverage vendor and assisting in the planning of the operational details of service (functionality, menu selection, food delivery/load in and preparation operational planning, delivery method, staff meals etc )


During the operational phase, the role will evolve to include management of the onsite Food and Beverage team and overall management of the Food and Beverage vendor.

All aspects of planning will integrate the priorities of Paris 2024 Food Vision.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operational Planning:
  • Manage the planning process of all details of the Food and Beverage vendor (location, overall look, guest flow etc )-
  • Work in partnership with the Director of Overlay and Salon 24 Production Direction Team on front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH) space allocations and planning, infrastructure, utilities and equipment layout design to provide and deliver fully functional Food and Beverage catering operational space.-
  • During the planning phase, the Senior Manager will manage the selection, contract and management of the supplemental catering vendor.-
  • Manage contractual and commercial timelines and responsibilities between On Location and the designated contracted Food and Beverage service provider from award to completion of the contract.-
  • Ensure Food and Beverage Catering Service Provider's compliance to all national and local laws and international legislation relating to Health Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene standards, Paris 2024 Food Vision, and regulations within the industry.-
  • Work with F&B provider on staffing ratios, and accreditation requirements.-
  • Work with F&B provider on delivery plan and collaborate with BOH Senior Manager on transport requirements and scheduling.-
  • Work with Production Direction on F&B sales platform, process, fund collection, auditing and remittal.-
  • Work to obtain licencing, and permits for operations (as required).-
  • Work with service providers to develop operational narratives for each space

Project Management:

  • Execute and consolidate Food and Beverage service provider's KPIs and any necessary consumption and reconciliation reports for day.
  • Ensure all preopening risk assessments, Health & Safety, Food Safety checks and Allergen Management checks are carried out.
  • Proactively troubleshoot quality and service issues before they escalate

Issue Resolution & Crisis Management:

to customer complaints.
  • Deal with guest complaints within the parameters of the prescribed complaint management process, managing client expectations and any confrontational issues that may arise. Es
