TIER Mobility is Europe's leading shared micro-mobility provider, with a mission to Change Mobility for Good.

By providing people with a range of shared, light electric vehicles, from e-scooters to e-bikes and e-mopeds, powered by a proprietary Energy Network, TIER helps cities reduce their dependence on cars.

Founded in 2018 by Lawrence Leuschner, Matthias Laug and Julian Blessin.

Recently we have closed a financial transaction to merge with Dott.

Together we create the European champion of shared micro-mobility, with revenues of €250m, supporting over 125M trips a year in more than 20 countries.

As a
Backend Engineer in the
Strategic Partnerships team, you build and maintain API integrations with key strategic partners like government institutions, Google Maps, FreeNow and other commercial partners.

Your contributions are critical in driving revenue growth by enabling the company to operate in new cities.

YOU'LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Passion for technology and Software Engineering
User centricity demonstrated ability to identify and truly grasp user problems, building effective and scalable solutions
Critical thinking observability mindset, strong ability to reflect on own and team performance, datadriven approach
Effectiveness as independent contributor fluency in Typescript and familiar with best practices, able to implement changes independently, meeting architecture guidelines and quality expectations set by the team

Bonus points

Interest in or experience with frontend web development
Experience with programming languages other than Typescript, runtime environments other than
Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes
Experience in rapid growth or largescale environments
