As part of the deployment of Alstom strategy to lead to way to greener and smarter mobility, the Sustainability & CSR Department is in charge to monitor environmental and societal trends, identify and lead projects generating shared economical, environmental and social value and develop opportunities for enhanced or new business models.


The Climate & Sustainability Analyst, reporting to the Climate Manager, is in charge of the reporting of the carbon inventory and follow-up reduction action plan and initiatives in climate, developing internal awareness and external collaborations and contributing to position Alstom as a sustainable mobility leader.

You will be in charge of the following missions:

  • Support the deployment of the Net Zero engagement of the group, working with internal stakeholders (i.e. energy plans from sites, benchmarks, avoided emissions),
  • Reporting & analysis: Contribute to the annual carbon inventory exercise of the group. Responsibility in all stages of reporting (input, validation, communication, continuous improvement) for all emission categories
  • Coordinate with different departments (Procurement, Environment, Operations, Ecodesign, etc.),
  • ESG & extrafinancial information: Support the CSR & Sustainability team in answering to extrafinancial requests (like CDP), work on the process & tools to answer to legislation (like CSRD) related to climate,
  • Support the climate adaptation plan of Alstom sites to face future risks related to weather events linked to climate change,
  • Raise internal awareness on Climate issues, leveraging awareness tools (Fresque du Climat, internal network of actor

Educational level:

Technical skills:

  • Excellent level in the use of Office tools and specifically Excel
  • Ability to collect, analyse data and prepare powerful synthesis
  • Fluent English and French (writing and speaking)
  • Knowledge / experience of carbon inventory would be a plus

Behavioral skills:

  • Autonomy in work organization, structure, rigor, ability to network
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Building relationships and collaboration
