The Industrial Technique Service Division is responsible for growing the Service business within the Industrial Technique Business area.

We have a dedicated team of technicians, support personnel, sales force and managers in place in more than 20 different markets.


We are looking to recruit a Service Operations Leader to support the service business for the Setitec line of Desoutter.


As the Service Operations Leader for Setitec, you will be responsible for organizing the Setitec service operations and ensuring their efficiency to support the field activities.

You will work with everything related to service operations from documentation and competence development to workflow and administrative processes.


The task is to structure the Service operations of Setitec in order to grow the competences of customer centers and improve support to the field, with a long-term target of ensuring a world class efficiency in a continuously improving global organization.

You will join a highly professional team and will belong to the CPS global operations team.

Since this mission is cross-functional you will be part of the Setitec Management team and will represent the Service operations for Setitec.


You will work in close cooperation with the Setitec management team, the CPS operations manager, the CPS Product Marketing Manager, the relevant AIS operations teams and the Customer Centers.

This position is key to our success and reports to the global operations manager Service


Job description

  • Lead the activities which will structure the service organization for Setitec.
  • Manage a team of four technicians who provide Service support to customer centers.
  • Initiate and drive the competence development of our CCs with a master trainer.
  • Create the Service documentation on which service technicians will rely to gain autonomy in servicing the Setitec products.
  • Implement the Service ticketing system at Setitec to provide support to Customer Centers and remotely help them service the Setitec solutions on site.
  • Cooperate with the Setitec management team to align the Service operations with the Setitec strategy.
  • Cooperate with Setitec R&D to anticipate the service needs for the future products.
  • Prepare the Service at Setitec for its midterm and longterm goals: DDS, integrated Service and high addedvalue expertise.
The aim of these tasks is ultimately to improve our customer's experience with the Setitec offer.


Experience requirements
We believe you are customer focused, with good customer onsite support understanding. You have the capability of dealing with multitask situations, you can manage a crisis. You also have the capability of understanding the links between the customer's production processes and our products and solutions.

We are looking for experience in the following areas:

  • Significant industrial experience in running and developing efficient operations
  • Experience of working within an international matrixorganization and ability to adapt easily to different cultures.

Educational requirements

  • Engineering degree, additional experience in business, sales or people management is a plus.
  • Good command of spoken and written English is mandatory, other local languages are a plus.

Location
The position is based in Collégien, 25km east of Paris.
