The Opportunity:


As a member of the industrial architecture community, you will join a team of highly motivated and valuable people who are involved in the main aircraft developpment in the serial and on the R&T to prepare the next generation aviation.


Your Accountabilities


As part of Airbus and to accelerate the development of future aircraft generations within the Industrial team, the job holder is accountable to define the build concept and the industrial system along co-designing with engineering on the Single Aisle.


The job requires interactions with a large community of stakeholders: Airbus engineering community (engineering, manufacturing technologies, quality...), Airbus subcontractors and external industry.


Your Main Responsibilities
Perform co-design activities with colleagues from Industrial and Engineering to define the optimum overall product and industrial system solution. This includes trade study analysis, technology selection, influence on the product architecture, defining the build concept and industrial V&V.

Define build process for system integration and testing.Â

Size industrial system for required rate and ramp-up profile.Â


Define the targets and lead the demonstration of industrial system performance using a combination of physical and digital validation tools.

Contribute to the supply chain landscape exploration with leadership on technical industrial topics.Â


Define the roadmap to achieve and demonstrate technology maturation to achieve the industrial criteria for TRL and the MRL targets.

Push for disruptive concepts that contribute to both product and industrial objectives.Â

Pull the right internal resources to demonstrate technology maturity.Â


Align with Plants, R&T, Extended Enterprise and Engineering to ensure that the industrial strategy is consistent and aligned with product strategy and technology roadmaps.

Steer technology roadmap consistency with project planning and product needs.


Capitalize industrial learnings from the E2E industrial system (make and buy) and feedback to the next design and process definition iterations.


Who We Are Looking For

Required Educational Background and Experience:

Expertise in Manufaturing Engineering (equipments / mechanical / Electric and Cabin intégration)

Experience in shop floor environment

Experience in Production requirements definitionÂ

Project management experienceÂ

Experience in an Research & Technology (R&T) context would be a plus

Design knowledge in system integration (electrical and Mechanical) would be a plus

Experience in metal detailed parts manufacturing would be a plus

Experience in polymer detailed parts manufacturing would be a plus

Willing to onboard new ways of working: system engineering, automation, robotics, etc.Â

Strong relationship building, networking, interpersonal and communication skills;
High degree of initiative, credibility, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust;

Languages:
Negotiation level of English and French/German/Spanish is considered a plus
