Our Team:


In view of the intended separation of the Consumer HealthCare (CHC) business of Sanofi, Communications is fast-growing and working as a high-performing, global, stakeholder-focused, networked team.

The function regularly works in transversal teams on a range of complex topics.

The function aligns the interests of various stakeholders, and executes activity that builds and protects CHC's brand, reputation and employee engagement across its businesses, markets, and countries.


Media is a key means of engagement between CHC and the external world, via either earned traditional or digital channels.

After the intended separation, the media relations lead will drive Corporate and Financial Communications. Before, a strong alignment with Corporate Media Relations (Sanofi) will take place to ensure we act as One Voice.


Main responsibilities:


  • Build and maintain relationships with toptier media (traditional e.g., print/broadcast) and social media on behalf of CHC to influence the financial and societal environment
  • Represent CHC as a spokesperson on both traditional and digital media channels; ensuring 'one voice' across countries/regions
  • Preparing briefings for senior executives (including the possible future CEO) and providing coaching and advice for external communications moments (e.g. interviews, speaking opportunities etc)
  • Ensuring consistency and impact of Sanofi's global PR strategy on countries, in particular France and the USA directly managed by the Global team
  • The development and execution of the corporate media relations strategy in collaboration with the business and the key global functions (R&D, Digital, People & Culture, etc), and working together with other Communications colleagues (e.g., Public Affairs, External Communications, Country Communications) where relevant
  • Identify and manage global media opportunities
  • Develop and execute financial communications plan(s) and activities in support of CHC financial disclosure obligations (e.g. quarterly results), support the development of the Integrated Annual Report, and M&A), and working with other departments (e.g., Corporate Sustainability, People & Culture, and Investor Relations)
  • Monitoring, measuring and reporting progress of plans and initiatives
  • Liaise with and manage thirdparty suppliers e.g. ext comms agency
  • Guide and support local crisis/issue management in line with CHC's crisis communications structure
  • Seek opportunities to share insights, contacts and ideas that will contribute to the activities of others within CHC's communications network
About you

  • Above 1015 years experience in communications of which at least 5 years in media relations
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in French and a high level of proficiency in English (preferably bilingual)
  • Proven financial literacy.
  • Deep understanding of the global business media and preferably with French media landscape.
  • Good understanding of the international business media landscape, including active relationships with relevant external stakeholders (e.g., sector correspondents, business editors, online influencers)
  • Proficient in the use of digital channels (e.g., social media) and associated tools including basic copywriting, graphic design and video editing, monitoring, and data analysis
  • Strong skills in working on several, complex projects simultaneously
  • Good understanding of / experience in a FMCG environment
  • Soft skills: Cultural sensitivit
