Context

Job title of the line manager: IT Department Manager Title of the functional manager (if any): Responsibilities: To undertake the tasks involved in supporting the implementation of project management practices.

To interact with the project manager directly or on behalf of an entity to request a cross-functional overview of the project portfolio.

To define, coordinate, develop and implement the entire methodological framework.

Objective and mission

Scope of Activities

To carry out some or all of the following activities:

Assist the project manager with operational implementation of internal processes and practices
Lead and coordinate the community of ISD project leaders
Propose and implement a support program (methods, tools, etc.) for project managers
Provide project managers with functional support for project management tools (scheduling, risks, workload, etc.)
Take administrative and applicative responsibility for project activity management software and its developments
Define, update and manage a single repository of methodological practices for project management: preparing and developing methods and practices in accordance with project needs, project maturity and project manager expectations
Support the implementation of entity project portfolios in accordance with the portfolio practices set out in the MPP
Provide consolidated portfolio reporting for the entity
Ensure the compliance and implementation of project processes, procedures and support resources
Set the compliance and practice quality indicator for each ISD projects
Increase practice compliance levels for all ISD projects

The activities are to be adapted for employees on work/study contracts (vocational training contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to remain consistent with their theory training.
