    Description

    The objective of the Yacht Accountant is to manage a portfolio of yacht management clients, providing detailed monthly accounts, monthly budgeting and assisting the captain with the financial operations of the yacht.

    Main Accountabilities and Duties:

    • Provide accurate accounts (numerically & categorised) to the owner.
    • Arrange timely payment of invoices.
    • Communicate effectively with the captain and owner.
    • Provide detailed fund requests to the owner.
    • Arrange timely payment of crew salaries.
    • Point of contact for owners / reps & captains on all financial matters.
    • Issuing monthly fund requests to owners / reps for forthcoming expenses.
    • Arranging payments on behalf of the yacht.
    • Liaising with suppliers regarding invoicing to the yachts.
    • Liaising with the captain to ensure that they have sufficient cash / debit card funds to operate the yacht.
    • Provide detailed monthly accounts to the owner / rep.
    • Be available to answer any financial queries from the owner's office.
