We're on a mission to enable every size organization to innovate faster by making the world easy to understand through geospatial data, consumer behavior, and image recognition technologies.

At Echo Analytics, we are the geospatial big data experts who give meaning to the world. We create, combine, and convert thousands of public and private datasets into meaningful geospatial insights at scale.

We partner with companies from multiple industries such as retail, mobility, smart-cities, real-estate, advertising, market-research, governments, and financial services to give them the power to innovate faster.

We are a self-funded startup less than 2 years old, with a staff of 50+ people from 18 different countries and an already very strong and hungry client base


Who We Are Looking For:

We are looking for an experienced and visionary VP of Product to lead Echo's product strategy. You will continue building (we need to double the team this year) and managing a dynamic product team.

In this role, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of our company's product portfolio and driving growth through the development and execution of a comprehensive product strategy.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs and drive business success.

Our goals are lofty and ambitious, so we require someone with a true startup mentality.

Someone who likes to get their hands dirty, move fast, take risks, has a passion for data, and pushes the R&D department to innovate and create ground-breaking data products at scale.


As a VP of Product, you'll be joining our leadership team to help Echo Analytics get to the next level.

This is a unique opportunity to join, build and grow a successful start-up leading its market from the early stages.

You will be taking over 3 young product lines: Places, Shapes, and Activity.

Each of these products revolve around a different geospatial data capabilities focused on data science, such as NLP, Image Recognition, and statistical modelling.

However, the possibilities are infinite and we are looking for an inspired product visionary who can take those young product lines and turn them into best-in-class products, all while expanding our products into innovative new data science fields.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Be a strong leader within the company, providing strategic direction and helping make decisions that influence the future of the company.
  • Create and execute a strategic product vision and roadmap aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of product managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive their professional growth and foster a highperformance culture.
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership, engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to define delivery topnotch products.
  • Oversee market research initiatives, customer insights, and monitor industry trends to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of competitive developments.
  • Define and monitor key product metrics, evaluate product performance, and make datadriven decisions to optimize product success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers, to gather feedback, gain market insights, and foster strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop gotomarket strategies, positioning, and messaging that effectively communicate the value proposition of our products to target customers.

Qualifications:


  • Fluency in English
  • At least 5 years experience managing multiple complex products, such as VP of Product, Head of Product, or CPO
  • Proven experience as a product leader in a technologydriven company
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire crossfunctional teams and drive collaboration towards shared goals
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problemsolving abilities, with a datadriven and customercentric approach
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand market dynamics, identify trends, anticipate market needs, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • A passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends, best practices, and change management, with a continuous learning mindset

Bonus Qualifications:


  • Previous experience working in Big Data or fast paced Tier1 Startups
  • Diploma in engineering, statistics, or similar field
  • Knowledge of the data and data science product landscape
  • Fluency in French
