About You


As the Demand Planner France you will be part of the UK & WE Supply Chain team and will be responsible for providing the timely creation and communication of robust market demand to enable the delivery of Working Capital targets, Operating profit and Customer Service goals.


You will manage a portfolio of products to provide the most accurate and up-to-date view of market demand at Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) level for France.

Furthermore, you will initiate and support process improvement activities to key stakeholders across the value chain.


You will report directly to the Northern Europe Demand Planning Manager and you will be an individual contributor (no direct reports).


YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Leading the Demand Review process for France as part of Golden Sales &Operations Process (S&OP) cycle all categories
  • Providing a monthly uptodate view of market demand of products for France, by maintaining a 24 month rolling forecast at invoice SKU level and location level.
  • Managing forecast locations splits, rollovers and allocation rules to optimize service and reduce obsolescence / slow movers and cost exposure as well as DIO targets
  • Shortterm management/coordination of the execution of plans, communication of changes, issues and shortages, avoidance of obsolete products and stock run outs.
  • Initiating and/or supporting projects to continuously improve Demand Reviews, forecasting processes Including statistical forecast as part of the S&OP process.
  • Driving improvements in forecast accuracy and bias
  • Understanding and communicating supply chain impacts and solutions (when appropriate) of categoryspecific business plans as well as recommendation of SKU optimization
  • Championing and owning development of Lean mindset and behavior within the WE Demand Planning team

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:


  • Educated to degree level with a previous experience in Supply Chain and/or Planning
  • Analytical skills, good at data manipulation and analysis
  • Product and Customer Portfolio Knowledge,
  • Project Management / Innovation Process skills
  • Knowledge of Rollover & Obsolescence management, S&OP process, Inventory Management and forecasting. Experience with SAP
  • React to rapidly changing priorities, quickly make decisions and recommendations, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Demonstrates influencing skills and a problem solving, selfstarter and selfdriven approach
  • Fluent in French and English required
