You will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions:_**We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic-minded individual to join our team as a Business Analyst Productivity for RGM (Revenue Growth Management) team Sephora Europe.


As the Productivity RGM Business Analyst, you will play a key role in defining and optimizing the Brand Allocation in stores for European countries, ensuring that we have the right brand in the right store for the right customer.

Your analysis and insights will be instrumental in driving business growth.


Responsibilities:


Strategy Development:

Define the overall brand space allocation strategy for European countries, taking into account overall Sephora strategy and business objectives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising and brand partnership / negotiations teams.


Optimization of brand allocations:
Conduct in-depth analysis to optimize brand allocation by store cluster and/or customer cluster. Use data-driven insights to determine the most effective mix for each store location and customer segment. Identify opportunities for brand expansions or rationalization based on performance analysis.


Category Strategy Analysis:

Analyze and evaluate the current brand allocation strategies of specific product categories, such as fragrance, makeup, skincare, and haircare.


Strong collaboration with local teams in the countries to understand their current processes, engage them in the space allocation strategy and help them embark in the optimization journey


Strong collaboration with brands to optimize and align on their exposure and expression in the stores


Tool Development Collaboration:
Work closely with the Merchandising PMO to oversee the development of tools to optimize processes.


Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Track and analyze performance metrics. Generate reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights and recommendations

  • Degree in Engineering or Business Economics
  • Previous experience (4yrs) as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably in a retail merchandising or RGM environment
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and findings to stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
