We are seeking a QA & Test Engineer to join our team. This person will be responsible for developing and executing exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.
In addition, they'll be joining a rapidly growing team, where they will have a direct impact on the product quality.
Responsibilities- Owns test strategy and advise developers to improve test practices- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.- Identify and report bugs for developers to fix.- Provide suggestions to enhance different systems or software.- Ensure new features match the company quality standards- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools/frameworks and test strategies.- Automate tests using test frameworks.- Write moderately complex code/scripts to test systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Proven work experience in software development
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience with one of the following: Automation Frameworks/Testing, Integration Testing, Continuous Integration, or Test Design
Nice to have
- Experience with performance and/or security testing
- Experience with secrets management solutions (Hashicorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager )
- Experience with data integration software
- Experience with micro service/distributed systems architecture
- Experience contributing to open source
