    Description du sujet:

Context.Objectives.
Work plan.

  • The student will first conduct organic synthesis of ligands before synthetizing the molecular cages by selfassembly. The effect of different chiral biases (counter anion, chiral ligand, guest) on the chirality induction will be then investigated. Then, the student will focus on analyzing the emission and chiroptic properties of cages, upon modification of ligand, counter anion and encapsulated guest.
    Funding.
  • The 3 years of PhD. are funded by an ANR JCJC project "SupraCPL" (ANR23CE

The Supramolecular bio-inorganic chemistry group is focusing on tuning physical (i.e. ocpical), or chemical (catalysis) properties by modification of the environment around coordination complexes. Working at the interface of supramolecular chemistry, coordination chemistry, and biology, different supramolecular strategies are harnessed like (i) designing ligands displaying several functionnal unit or (ii) taking advantage of the molecular cages properties.
