The role which you will play

Our Global Data Architect will contribute to our major data governance and data services activities and accelerate our digitalization activities by ensuring the quality of our data foundation.

Our Global Data Architect will be responsible to coordinate the activities of several projects and use cases related to data to develop a single global approach in terms of data security, data policies, data modelling for structure and unstructured data.

He will also participate actively to the design authority and the architecture of the various data technical assets (such as data platform, search & indexing platform, AI platform, Integration platform).

The people you will work with

You will support our data delivery teams, to bring consistency of our global Project & Services data architecture, data model and data lifecycle process.

You will work in collaboration with the Data Governance lead, the Data Office, the data domain owners, the data managers, data delivery teams, cloud transformation teams, and business stakeholders.

The Global Data Architect will be part of global IDS (Information and Digital Services) Organization. You will report directly to the Data Services Manager.

The position is in Paris Area, France.

Responsibilities

Global Data Architecture

Lead the design and delivery of T.EN data platforms aligned with the identified business needs, but also driven by enterprise architecture principles.
Define the data architecture principles for T.EN in collaboration with other Enterprise architects and cloud transformation teams.
Simplify the existing data architecture, delivering reusable services and costsaving opportunities in line with the policies and standards of the group.
Drive project knowledge back to the enterprise data model and ensure that it evolves correctly.
Participate to collaborative team working with other areas within Enterprise Architecture or Business Application groups to bring a data perspective to ensure that all solutions are complete, operable, conform to business processes, and meet the business needs with the agreed quality of service.
Participate in the supplier selection process, evaluating usefulness and cost of products and making appropriate recommendations.
Develop & manage the data technologies ecosystem of T.EN from an architecture standpoint (e.g. relationship with partners & providers).
Ensure technology solutions are in alignment with data architecture principles and target state.
Manage technical debt.

**Data projects/products delivery

Lead the data design of solutions for projects and programs; identify gap re. existing data assets; through expert knowledge translate highlevel business requirements into corresponding data services.
Define and own data architecture processes for project development (e.g. data management by design).
Work as part of the project management team on large program, shaping the delivery of projects.
Work closely with external suppliers to ensure solution makes best use of technology and meets requirements.
Control throughout the entire project lifecycle for the endtoend solution of the project regarding data and compliance with enterprise data model and data domains.
Coordinate with various data services roles (data engagement, service engineer, data governance), data delivery teams and cloud transformation teams.
Manage (from a functional perspective) external resources onboarded on projects.

Main Skills

Significant experience on architecture cloud environment (Azure).
Experience in designing platform architecture.
Very good knowledge of design pattern of data product (include APIs and event driven integration, data science, search and indexing, IoT).
Entity Relationship modeling, metadata systems, data quality tools and techniques.
Mastering of data tools from MDM, to advanced data technologies
Experience in data warehousing,
