Position Description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB


As Renault Trucks (RT) Brand Relations Manager you the main Renault Trucks Financial Services (RTFS) interface to RT Europe & RT headquarters functions, and represent RTFS in various commercial and strategic projects.

You secure the link between the Renault Trucks strategy, and our RTFS markets.

You support RTFS Europe by identifying, leading and coordinating projects and initiatives primarily associated with new product and services launches and commercial plans.

You secure integration of our RTFS offers in the total offer sales strategy, and identify new business opportunities and solutions ensuring revenue and customer experience goals are met.

You also support the implementation and the execution of the Volvo Financial Services (VFS) strategy, to ensure activities and processes are developed and managed effectively and efficiently.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


As main contact for RT Europe & RT headquarters colleagues regarding commercial development, you work cross-functionally on commercial plans, reporting, training, networking, etc to support execution of stragegic and commercial plans.


  • You create and follow commercial action plans across all European markets. Eg light commercial vehicles (LCV) action plans, Used Trucks Financing action plans, coordinate new product launch campaigns and share best practices.
  • You participate in various RT Networks and meetings to secure integration of RTFS in the RT Marketing plans, execution plans and longterm strategies, in collaboration with VFS global teams (mainly "Strategy & Innovation" and "EaaS")
  • You lead and execute various adhoc RTFS Business Dev. projects depending on needs, eg create new RTFS training materials and/or elearnings for RT sales force, in collaboration with RT headquarters Competence Development.
  • You create and distribute the periodic RTFS report, incl. insights from all European markets, to inform about progress and collaboration.


You also keep an updated view of the RTFS offering, business models and services capabilities across Europe, and facilitate opportunities to share best practices and develop offerings.


  • Working cross functionally with all RTFS dedicated colleague and coordinate the RT specific activities, to secure efficiency and synergies.
  • You support the Europe South & West, Africa and Australia (ESWAA) Regional Management Team with an overview and status update of our market business development priorities (combination of VFS Service verticals, D&IT plans and local priorities), and can therefore represent our region in global Business Dev. Networks.
    EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
  • Higher level education usually university degree or equivalent required in business or finance
  • 5 years of experience in commercial vehicle or financial services sector is required
  • Project Management experience is required
  • Prior experience working in an international environment is required

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS

  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and influence at all levels internally and externally. Ability to balance contradicting needs from various stakeholders and work crossfunctionally.
  • Several years' experience in a commercial customer financing role, with a deep understanding of our VFS financial offers, processes and business models.
  • Agile / Lean Project Management experience and skills
  • Good understanding of commercial vehicle and business solution markets. Holistic view of the Group value chain & business models
  • Customer focus: Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and colleagues. Gains their trust and respect and is committed to customer satisfaction.
  • Integrity and trust: Seen as a direct, truthful individual who presents facts in an appropriate and helpful manner, keeps confidences, and admits mistakes. Can resolve different points of view constructively.

GENERAL SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, with excellency in Power Point and Excel
  • Advanced level in reading, writing, and speaking English and French.
  • Italian/Spanish languages a plus
