- Ascertain job requirements from drawings and/or other specifications.
- Fault location, repair, calibration, and maintenance of Instrumentation systems, ESD Systems and PLC's
- Preventative maintenance and proof test procedures on safety-related Instrumentation systems
- Some knowledge of Electrical motor control systems and Analyser field equipment would also be advantageous
- Application of basic reliability techniques and tools to further enhance the Refinery's safety and reliability culture
- Inspection and maintenance of hazardous area equipment
- A commitment to provide out of hours call out cover and to work extended hours during busy periods
- Adhere to all safety requirements including safety checks of tools and equipment.
- Use all relevant workshops/site equipment associated with job requirements
- Candidates will be innovative and self-motivated with the ability to work independently with enthusiasm and minimal supervision.
- You will have completed a recognized training programme and have experience within the oil & gas industry or other continuous process industry.
- An aptitude for problem solving is essential and appropriate qualifications such as CompEx, City & Guilds, ONC/HNC or equivalent should be held.
