    Role and Responsibilities:

  • Ascertain job requirements from drawings and/or other specifications.
  • Fault location, repair, calibration, and maintenance of Instrumentation systems, ESD Systems and PLC's
  • Preventative maintenance and proof test procedures on safety-related Instrumentation systems
  • Some knowledge of Electrical motor control systems and Analyser field equipment would also be advantageous
  • Application of basic reliability techniques and tools to further enhance the Refinery's safety and reliability culture
  • Inspection and maintenance of hazardous area equipment
  • A commitment to provide out of hours call out cover and to work extended hours during busy periods
  • Adhere to all safety requirements including safety checks of tools and equipment.
  • Use all relevant workshops/site equipment associated with job requirements
  • What we are looking for:

  • Candidates will be innovative and self-motivated with the ability to work independently with enthusiasm and minimal supervision.
  • You will have completed a recognized training programme and have experience within the oil & gas industry or other continuous process industry.
  • An aptitude for problem solving is essential and appropriate qualifications such as CompEx, City & Guilds, ONC/HNC or equivalent should be held.
  • Valid CCNSG Safety Passport

    Salary: From £19.11 per hour
