    FLYING WHALES is looking for a

    MARKET ANALYST - V.I.E

    FLYING WHALES is an extraordinary industrial adventure.

    We are developing an air transport solution to support the economic development of landlocked regions and significantly reduce the environmental footprint of cargo transport.

    FLYING WHALES has formed a consortium to design, build on three continents and operate worldwide a fleet of LCA60T airships capable of loading and unloading up to 60 tons of cargo (wood, wind turbine blades, containers, mobile hospital, etc.) in hover flight, with a particularly low environmental footprint. This transport system is unique in the world. FLYING WHALES is also developing FLYING WHALES SERVICES, the operating company for this fleet, which will combine the skills of an airline and an airport company.

    WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

    As part of our organic growth in France and abroad, we are recruiting a MARKET ANALYST within a V.I.E.

    Mission

    YOUR MISSIONS:

    You will be handling the marketing and prospection initiatives in Australia. You will also be driving towards the vision and strategy of operational implementation in the country.


    In this role, your responsibilities will be:

    Prospection & commercial excellence:

    • Maintain & develop network at the national and state levels (sectorial associations, business clubs, strategic partners,...)
    • Initiate or maintain contact with potential prospects in close collaboration with the Sales Manager
    • Understand the needs and challenges of prospects to prepare compelling business cases in close cooperation with the Sales Manager and Technical teams in France
    • Coordinate meetings to identify and follow projects where our expertise can be invaluable

    Strategic Marketing & Events:

    • Conduct market research to pinpoint prospective clients, strategic partners, end-users,...
    • Collect, interpret, present data and propose action plans
    • Participate in preparing country business plans
    • Attend trade shows to promote offer and meet customers and prospective client
    • Follow competition landscape and contribute to regional competitive intelligence work

    Profile

    YOUR EDUCATION & EXPERIENCES:

    • Master's degree with an Engineering or Business School background
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing / business development departments in industrial sector (aerospace, construction, energy, mining)

    YOUR COMPETENCIES:

    • Excellent command of Pack Office
    • Fluent in English

    • Enthusiastic, open and face challenges with passion
    • Strong analytics skills and ability to manage large volume of information
    • You want to mark history contributing to this unique large industrial adventure
