  • Business Development Representative


The Business Development Representative is a junior role consisting in proposing our innovative solutions to a portfolio of potential clients within the different products composing the Meltwater Suite.

You will work directly with the Sales director and the Account Executive Team and will be responsible for developing new opportunities and building a strong pipeline of sales opportunities to deliver on monthly and quarterly targets.


Our clients work generally in Marketing, Digital Communications and PR departments and we are in direct contact with C level executives through a consultative approach.

Meltwater works with 30,000 clients worldwide from all sectors. Many of which are Fortune 500, Forbes 2000, CAC40, IBEX35...

Within the Account Executive team, working with our Key Accounts, you will be responsible for owning the identification and development of quality sales opportunities (Mapping & Prospecting), preparing demos, meetings and proof of concept.

You will take part in client meetings and negotiations as well as implementation of the solutions.

You will have the opportunity to follow through on your sales cycle from A-Z, from the identification of the business opportunity to the signature, implementation and further cross-sales developments.


You will be developing partnerships with the biggest southern Europe companies || Your professionalism, attention to detail and ambition will be a key factor.

The program at Meltwater is an intensive but rewarding one.

The first months of your career with us you will learn the ropes and become an expert when it comes to our tools and sales cycle.

With drive and a proven track record of success you will quickly develop to manage a team or move on to more senior sales focused roles on the team.

Skills & Requirements

2+ years of experience, ideally in a previous sales role (BDR, SDR, Bizdev etc)

University degree

A passion and affinity for sales

Exceptional communication skills

A talent for connecting with others and building relationships

Drive and a "can do attitude" - resilience

MUST be FLUENT in both SPANISH AND ENGLISH/FRENCH
