Our strong and agile international team continues to grow and adapt to new challenges. Based in Grenoble (France), we have recently started operations our Verkor Innovation Centre (R&D centre and 4.0 pilot line).

We now focus on building the world's most modern and efficient Gigafactory in Dunkirk (France).

With this facility, our ambition is an initial annual production of 16 Gwh of lithium-ion batteries by 2025, thus powering 300,000 electric vehicles annually.

In joining us you will actively participate in this breathtaking industrial adventure to shape the future of European mobility.

You lead on the design and execution of the systems that transport, store, and track materials in Verkor's factories.


The role will evolve from the ramping up the pilot line, improving the pilot line, designing the Gigafactory logistics, and then setting up the Gigafactory logistics.


You are embracing the objective of building and structuring Verkor as the most advanced battery manufacturing company in the world.


Responsibilities:


  • System design for the factory logistics, with a focus on the hardware: including AGVs (automated guided vehicles), RGVs (rail guided vehicles), conveyors, fork lifts, stacker cranes, 3axis gantries, etc. The goal is to design the most automated battery manufacturing process in the world.
  • Leading on the FAT, then later the installation, validation, and SAT of the factory logistics
  • Improving the factory with process improvement projects after hardware installation. The goal is to reduce labor and scrap cost, while increasing machine availability and utilization.
  • Strong knowledge in industrial engineering ERP softwares like Master ERP (SAP), WMS (Warehouse Management System), MES (Manufacturing Execution System). Design and validation of the intercommunication protocols between these softwares for optimal productivity.

Requirements:


  • Evidence of exceptional ability. Verkor follows a culture of fullcycle engineering where members will have full responsibility and accountability for their projects from start to finish. We are looking for the best of the best.
  • 3 to 8 years of experience working with factory logistics.
  • Experience with AGVs, conveyors, and other transport vehicles.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment, particularly with highvolume product (>100,000 or > 1,000,000 products per day).
  • Experience with factory layout design to reduce footprint and optimize the manufacturing process.
  • Basic knowledge in CAD software tools, specifically AutoCAD 2D for layout drafting
  • Basic: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
  • Preferred: M.S. in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
  • English (knowledge of Korean and French will be useful)
  • Relocation from Verkor's headquarters and pilot line in Grenoble to the Gigafactory site in Dunkirk will be required in the future
