Description

Within the framework of a cogeneration project near Nancy, our client require a General Construction Manager.

The missions will be as follows:
Internal and external reporting;
Management of HSE Supervision;
Representation of Client at the construction site. Technical and financial issues solving;
Participation to the development of the detailed construction sequence by the EPCm contractor (construction driven schedule);
Participation to the bids review, bid clarifications and contractor recommendation for the construction contracts;
Validation of the Construction Management Plan (including Physical Progress measurement tools) submitted by the EPCm contractor;
Validation the weekly physical progress reported by the EPCm contractor. In case of any delay reviewing / validating / negotiating the corrective actions with the EPCm contractor and the concerned Construction Contractor;
Management and supervision of the EPCm Construction Management;
Participation to the constructability reviews, the 3D model review and the readiness for construction assessment;
Participation to the review / validation of the HSE Plan (including Work Permit System) developed by the EPCm contractor;
Participation to the review / validate the Work Method Statement, Job safety Analysis, Lifting and rigging plan,for any critical activities;
With the Client HSE Supervisor, validation of the preparation, authorization and supervision of the activities at site comply with Work Permit System put in force;
Reviewing the NCR's and will validate / clarify the corrective action(s) proposed either by the EPCm contractor, either by the CC's before implementation;
Review / negotiation / validation (on behalf of Client and as per the applicable governance rules) the change request submitted by the CC's;
Participation to the construction coordination meetings set up by the EPCm contractor.
With the HSE supervisor, participation to the root cause analysis managed by the EPCm contractor, in case of Near Miss, incident, accident,;
Validation of the Field Contractor time sheets and bill of materials;
Validation of the Mechanical Completion Certificates and Punch lists (including classification of the punch items and corrective actions).
