Job description
We are searching for an experienced associate or manager to join our Corporate Intelligence team.

The role is Paris-based, but you will join our global Intelligence and Investigations team comprised of members in France, Italy, Canada, China, Singapore, and the UAE.


In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of integrity due diligence investigations, asset-tracing engagements, investigative and strategic research, and other forms of investigations related to fraud, corruption, asset-misappropriation, money-laundering, regulatory and sanctions violations, and other such matters.


You will have the opportunity to be involved in all other areas of our Intelligence and Investigations practice, including forensic accounting, forensic technology, and compliance reviews.

You may also have the opportunity to be involved in other types of Accuracy engagements. Domestic and international travel may also be required occasionally for certain engagements.


Responsibilities

  • Managing Corporate Intelligence investigations by performing opensource research to develop intelligence on entities and individuals (including, but not limited to: background information, public profile, corporate affiliations and asset ownership, adverse media references, civil litigation and commercial disputes, criminal proceedings, political affiliations, regulatory violations, and references on watch lists).
  • Reviewing and delivering written reports and memos detailing research results and key findings in English (essential) and French (preferred).
  • Providing verbal updates to clients and/or other members of Accuracy teams.
  • Drafting proposals, preparing marketing materials, attending conferences and other events and providing other forms of business development support to leadership.
  • Managing the Corporate Intelligence team's database and technology portfolio, including liaising with and evaluating existing and potential vendors of such products.

Qualifications

  • Strong academic background, preferably in a researchintensive area such as law, political science or journalism.
  • 4+ years of experience in corporate intelligence and investigations at an international consulting firm, a reputable boutique firm, a law enforcement agency, or an inhouse position at a financial institution or a multinational company/organization.
  • Verbal and written fluency in English and French
  • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and uncompromising ethics and integrity
  • Verbal and written fluency in a third major European language (preferred)
  • Certified Fraud Examiner certification or similar (preferred)
  • Proficiency with i2 Analyst's Notebook and other data analysis tools (preferred)
