About the job


The Observability PaaS team is building an all-in-one monitoring platform to provide dashboarding and alert capabilities to both Scaleway's products and customer systems.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be in charge of crafting the product with your teammates.

You will be responsible for developing, operating, and optimizing the product.

You will also play a key part in designing the technical stack and managing the product backlog.


Minimum qualifications:


  • Ability to bring out the best in an amazing team
  • Good experience in Golang & Backend development (any additional language is a plus)
  • Experience with typical DevOps tooling: Git, CI/CD, containers, etc.
  • Very good command of English (French is a big plus)

Preferred qualifications:


  • Knowledge of observability products: Prometheus, Loki, Alertmanager, Grafana, etc.
  • Comfortable using collaborative tools: GitHub/GitLab, Jira, Slack, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of microservices and cloud patterns (K8s is a plus)
  • Familiarity with quality enhancers: unit/endtoend testing and documentation
  • Strong sysadmin and networking knowledge
