In your role as Lead Frontend Developer, you will be at the helm of a multicultural, internationally diverse team, driving the development of cutting-edge TypeScript React applications. This position is not just about coding; its about leading by example and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within our agile (Kanban-driven) environment. Your mission is to ensure our solutions are not only aesthetically appealing but also robust and scalable, enhancing our customers journey towards digitalization and sustainability.

This is a hybrid role (2-3 days in office)
Responsibilities:

• Direct and mentor a team of frontend developers, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  
• Spearhead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our React applications, ensuring they align with our architectural vision and standards.
  
• Facilitate collaboration between design, product, and technical teams to translate concepts into user-centric interfaces.
  
• Uphold and advocate for best practices in TypeScript/React development, ensuring our applications are responsive, functional, and visually compelling.
  
• Lead the charge in unit testing, working closely with the QA team to enhance application quality and address issues.
  
• Champion our architectural and coding standards, including MicroFrontend architecture, and drive initiatives for code optimization and scalability.
  
• Serve as a technical advisor across departments, offering insights and solutions to complex challenges.
  
• Ensure seamless integration with backend services, fostering a cooperative environment between frontend and backend developers.
  
• Stay ahead of industry trends and technologies, enriching the teams knowledge through workshops, training sessions, and code reviews.
  

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
  
• Proven leadership experience in managing agile development teams.
  
• Expertise in React, , and full-stack development methodologies.
  
• Solid understanding of CSS, HTML, TypeScript, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks.
  
• Proficient in unit testing and familiar with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab.
  
• Experience with AWS services and understanding of serverless architecture.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
  
• Strong communication abilities in English; French or German is a plus.
