As an Accounting Assistant at Les Bateaux Belmond, A Belmond boat, you are part of a team that is responsible for the day-to-day accounting and reporting for the allocated business units. In this role, you will assist the financial department in their daily tasks by entering and monitoring accounting data according to each boat during touristic season. Primary Responsibilities Include :

· Tracking and recording of expense reports sent by boats (envelopes and Excel documents).

· Tracking and recording of expense reports.

· Entering supplier invoice

· Investigating any anomalies found (gap between reports and accounting documents, incomplete tables, missing supporting documents,...).

· Conducting wine inventories.

· Relaunching with boat teams to obtain the information needed by the Accounting department (invoices, inventories, receipts, etc...).

· Phone reception and supplier reception (for deliveries).

· Ad hoc requests from general or financial management that are compatible with the post. These requests may include occasional assistance to other departments.

Requirements

What you bring :

· 2+ years' relevant experience within all aspects of accounting

· Fluent in French, English is recommended.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills.
