ETT is a family business with 340 employees, specializing in high-end air treatment solutions (heating, air conditioning, air filtration) for the past 40 years at its site near Brest. Based on thermodynamic technologies (heat pumps) labeled as renewable energy, our equipment helps reduce the carbon footprint of buildings. ETT is looking for an ACV Engineer in apprenticeship.

Mission

As part of your apprenticeship, you will be responsible for conducting Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of our products.

Within the R&D department, your mission will involve gathering the carbon footprint data of the design/manufacture of our components to establish an Environmental Product Profile (EPP) for each identified product.

You will be responsible for:

• Conducting LCA of products by collecting necessary data from industrial services and suppliers.
• Evaluating the environmental impact of products using specialized LCA software.
• Contributing to the development and updating of EPPs for each identified product.
• Collaborating with the R&D team to integrate eco-design principles.
• Providing regular progress reports and proposing improvements.

Profile

PROFILE: Required knowledge, skills, and experience

• You are pursuing an engineering degree or university with a specialization in sustainable development or equivalent. Proficiency in computer tools is required, knowledge of LCA software is a plus.
• You have a strong interest in environmental analysis and eco-design.
• Your dynamism and curiosity drive you to search, share, and validate information with various stakeholders.
