Job title of the line manager: IT Center Manager Job title of the functional manager (if any): Responsibilities: To install, bring into production, administer and operate the IT resources of one or more IT sites. To contribute to the smooth operation of information systems by ensuring the provision of operational maintenance for all system software tools and/or infrastructures and/or communication infrastructures with the ultimate objective of optimum quality, productivity and security.

Scope of Activities

To carry out some or all of the following activities:

Take responsibility for the optimal functioning of the tools, systems or and/networks within your scope of responsibility

Implement the tools required to guarantee data consistency

Maintain an up-to-date global overview of information systems, and a good level of knowledge about the company

Maintain a permanent inventory and manage all network components

Monitor and analyze performance, and implement measures to improve system quality and/or productivity

Set the rules for using the system in accordance with company norms and standards and in compliance with the terms of service contracts. Document, promote and check their application

Organize and optimize resources within your domain

Validate the installation and integration of new systems, networks and telecoms in the production environment

Manage access rights to servers and applications on the basis of user profiles

Resolve incidents or issues flagged up by internal requests: incident diagnosis and identification, followed by formulation and monitoring of the resolution process

Contribute to corrective maintenance initiatives in terms of quality monitoring and assurance

Suggest improvements to optimize resources and their organization

Transfer skills and procedure technical assistance to operations teams, and contribute to their training, where required

Manage access to IS resources (in general)

Manage developments in the maintenance of hardware, software and the system

Manage performance (alert thresholds and settings for resources and products within your domain)

Conduct studies as the basis for the recommendation and implementation of hardware, tools and software

Monitor technology trends for various aspects of the system and communication infrastructure (hardware, software, architecture, protocol and transfer modes)

The activities are to be adapted for employees on work/study contracts (vocational training contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to remain consistent with their theory training.

Address and resolve QSE alerts raised by personnel

Ensure that your team has the skills required for their jobs (QSE training, accreditations, etc.)

Support QSE maturity development in your sector

Minimum of 10 years' experience of industrial production (production manager, supply chain manager, etc.)
