Description

We are looking for several Performance Test Engineers (6 months off-site and 3 months on-site/mixed)
for a client project in Strasbourg.

Task description:

Handle the performance testing support activities as required;
Develop a strategy for endtoend performance testing of the software and hardware systems specified in this tender;
Draft the performance test plan and update the test plan for review to manager/leader;
Develop the performance test script using the tools provided in CSI Technology Portfolio Catalogue (to be shared by the Client) for all the identified performance testing scenarios; involve in preparation of performance test data;
Execute the various performance tests including Load test, stress test, endurance test, capacity test;
Capture and analyze performance test metrics;
Review test results captured from LoadRunner and monitoring tool, support the identification of performance issues and make recommendations to stakeholders
Enable other QA engineers and developers in running performance tests;
Works crossfunctionally to address issues and emerging needs in software systems;
Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability and scalability;
Develop standards and best practices for writing robust, maintainable, and performant load testing scripts;
Evaluate system performances and recommend improvements;
Present performance reports to the other Department and the Client.

Job requirements:

University degree (master or equivalent) in Computer Science;
Minimum 6 years of experience in software and hardware performance testing and associated tooling.
Good Handson knowledge on performance test tool JMeter;
Experience with the entire software life cycle requirements capture, analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance, deployment, and maintenance;
Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Work Load Design, Test Cases Design, Test Platform Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management & Configuration Management;
Very good English speaking and writing skills;
Capacity In writing documents; Ability to present findings and recommendations to peers, coworkers, and customers;
Good communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with development team;
Experience and willingness of working in an international/multicultural environment.
