Genvia is a Schlumberger joint venture (with CEA, Vinci, Vicat and Occitanie region) in Clean Hydrogen Technology that will scale up the next generation of electrolyzer technology with the deployment of a gigafactory.


SCOPE AND SUBJECT OF THE INTERNSHIP
The first production line of Genvia will be operational in October.

The objective of this internship is to explore different technologies to develop and deploy secured edge intelligence in cyber-physical systems that compose Genvia production line.

You will then develop an edge computation for one of these systems that demonstrates performance efficiency in manufacturing operations.

This is a highly visible project within the Montpellier Technology Center.


RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES


As part of Genvia Digital Manufacturing team, you will be based in MpTC and have the responsibilities to investigate, design, build and deploy the first edge nodes for Genvia Smart Factory.


TARGET DISCIPLINES AND SPECIAL SKILLS
Strong problem-solving skills and technical judgment

Passionate in programming (Python 3) and learning new technologies

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Strong interest in Industry 4.0, manufacturing (processes & equipment) and cross-discipline projects (mechanical, electrical, thermodynamics, pneumatics)

Excellent communication skills and good English written & oral skills


LEVEL OF STUDY AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
Final year

Knowledge of manufacturing and IIoT domains

Knowledge of K3s and infrastructure management automation tools (Salt, Terraform, Ansible)
