As an
ESG Analyst Intern, you will report to the
Head of ESG and Sustainability for Prime, and you will be part of
AXA IM
PRIME business unit.

Description of the Department

AXA IM Prime is a fully integrated provider of investment solutions across private markets, including private equity, private debt, infrastructure and hedge funds.

It operates within the wider AXA Investment Management platform - sitting alongside AXA IM Core, AXA IM Alts and AXA IM Architas - and is backed by AXA Group, one of the world's pre-eminent global insurance and asset management groups.

DISCOVER your opportunity

The ESG Analyst Intern will report to the Head of ESG and Sustainability and will work in collaboration with other teams at Prime to support the ongoing implementation of Prime's ESG Strategy.

Your role and responsibilities will include:

Supporting ESG team and investment teams during the ESG due diligence of external asset managers and portfolios, including review and analysis of proprietary ESG assessment questionnaires, and ensuring ongoing implementation of the ESG due diligence process with all investment teams (Private Equity, Infrastructures, Private debt, NAV Financing, GP stakes and Hedge Funds)
Carry out research tasks and benchmarking exercises for the ESG Team on ESG investment practices specific to private markets in the fundoffund business
Support the Secretariat for Prime's ESG internal governance, including preparation of internal presentations and written materials
Contribute to ongoing climaterelated projects, including research tasks, and carbon footprinting of investment portfolios
Daytoday support to the ESG Team on priority projects to support the ongoing implementation of the AXA IM Prime ESG Strategy, including engagement with external asset managers

Profile:

Education/Qualifications

Currently undertaking a Master's degree in a leading Business or Engineering school with a specialization in Finance, Sustainable Finance or ESG
Previous experience in asset management or consulting is an advantage

Technical skills

Strong critical analytical skills and ability to concisely synthesize information in written form
Proven ability to multitask and produce quality work with attention to detail within tight deadlines
A hardworking, dynamic and proactive selfstarter enjoying entrepreneurial environments that value initiative and autonomy
True team player
Fluent English speaker
Good communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (essential), Powerpoint and Word; other software skills are an advantage (for example, Tableau, SQL, Python, VBA)
