As Cryogenic Engineer for electric propulsion, you will BE part of a multinational team in charge of developing an advanced superconducting and cryogenic powertrain to enable high power electric propulsion systems for aircraft application.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include :
Participating in the design of the Cryogenic Cooling System leading the development process and industrial roadmap
Selecting and managing the industrial partners and suppliers
Managing the delivery of demonstrator and sub-demonstrators with respect to project goals and timeline
Collaborating with internal teams (mechanical integration, electrical propulsion) to make sure of the good integrability of the Cryogenic Cooling System into the overall powertrain.
This position is based in Toulouse and IT comes with a limited contract for 3 years (CDI-C).Your boarding pass
What you bring
MSc or PhD in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Deep knowledge of Cryogenic and Vacuum Technologies
At least 5 year working experience in Cryogenic System development, from design to laboratory testing, possibly for aeronautic applications
Strong skills in multiphysics modeling (electrical, mechanical, thermal, CFD)
Hands-on experience in prototyping and manufacturing Cryogenic system Components
Demonstrated track record of end-to-end project execution
Well-built professional network within their domain of expertise, including academics, industrial players, consultants, entrepreneurs
Autonomy, Adaptability, Availability, Accountability
