Description
Riviera Wine is one of the most well renowned and experienced wine & spirits suppliers in the yachting industry on the French Riviera.
In order to meet our highly demanding customers' needs we are urgently looking for an office-based wine & spirits buyer who would mainly be responsible for:- Building wine & spirits offers: quotes, wine suggestions, annual catalog etc.
- Processing orders / purchasing and organizing product deliveries to the warehouse, tracking orders and liaising with the transport agents
- Ensuring best quality and authenticity of the purchased products
- Building relationship and negotiating with suppliers for best price, quantities, and delivery timescales
- Monitoring the stock quality / quantity, analyzing trends to ensure the relevance of purchase (trade shows, specialized magazines, wine trips) and guaranteeing the best price/performance ratio all year round
- Outside the busy summer season: organizing wine & spirits tastings and events with customers, suppliers and the team when necessary
- Updating SAGE software (products, orders, nomenclatures and accounting codes, wine score, etc.)
- Participating in inventories and escalating any discrepancies to suppliers and management
- Identifying and analyzing the purchasing needs to constantly improve the gross margin and increase the turnover
Experience / skills:

- Attention to details
- Fluent in French and English, Italian is a plus
- Knowledge in wine (WSET or similar)
- Experience in dealing with sourcing and/or stock management
- Proficient with Microsoft office (excel, word, outlook) and SAGE 50 is a plus
- Driving license
- Permit to work in France
