The
Global Procurement Group defines, at corporate level, the procurement strategies for each major family, and the global rules pertaining to sourcing, negotiation, collaboration and techno-economic evaluation of our suppliers.

It also defines the level of management for

each family :
Global / National / Local.

The Global Procurement Group is divided into:

  • Business Partner
  • Strategic Procurement
  • Indirect Procurement
  • Subcontracting
  • Travel
  • Car fleet management
  • Process and Performance
Description du poste

You will report to the Head of Business Partner division of the Global Procurement Group.

As Category Manager, you will manage a portfolio of strategic families related directly or indirectly to Energy Production and including:


  • Photovoltaïc;
  • Biogas/natural Gas Cogeneration and all related systems;
  • Steam Turbines;
  • Boilers;
  • Heating and Cooling equipment.
The category may grow over time with additional categories according to business requirements.

On these families, your will be asked to:

  • analyse the spend of all Veolia entities;

- steer international, multi
  • BU working group(s) to define the
global Veolia strategy;
- lead tender processes and built framework agreements;
- promote innovation, share best practices, optimize Veolia's

methods;
- drive the suppliers relationship;


Qualifications:


  • Business or Engineering Master's degree
  • A minimum of ten years experience in international procurement, including:
  • commercial and legal negotiation skills;
- knowledge of international tender process;
- knowledge of supply chain management.

  • Strong experience of the international renewable energy equipments market, including:
  • knowledge of main manufacturers, distributors and contractors;
- knowledge of the issues and challenges of these markets;
- knowledge of regional / national regulations & specifics

  • Technical skills on Energy production equipment, including:
  • technical and technological knowledge of main equipment (solar panels, inverters, cogenerators, biogas treatment, steam turbines, boilers, HVAC, etc.);
- good understanding of the links and interfaces between these equipment and the surrounding process equipment;
- basic knowledge of international standards (IEC);
- knowledge of regional / national specifics.

  • Ability to lead multicultural teams.
  • Fluent English.
  • An additional experience in operations or project management will be valued.
