The opening of this research and development center in France supports Ericsson's technological leadership with strong focus on ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) services and mobile software, particularly in the fields of security, AI, automation, NTN and private and critical networks.

It complements our already strong R&D presence in Europe, with 20 R&D centers.

About this opportunity:

We are continuing to expand our R&D Security team in Massy, France, which will among other areas focus on Mobile Radio Access security.

This Security R&D team will work closely with the Development Units, which is operational responsible for Product Security of the Ericsson RAN Product portfolio.

If you are an experienced security expert and would like to be a part of ensuring that Ericsson have the outstanding security solutions and hereby crafting customer trust and future business growth, then this is the job for you.

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for skilled Security Researcher / Pentesters with experience in source code analysis, pentest audits, vulnerability analysis and ethical hacking.

The focus of the security team in France will be in these areas:

Perform "white box" pentests, in order to find specific advanced vulnerabilities in Ericsson products and propose mitigations
Perform pentests audits activities for selected Ericsson RAN products or other Ericsson solutions
Perform security research on topics in relation to Ericsson products, technologies or protocols
Analyze, reproduce and answer some questions or findings coming from Ericsson customers
Give presentations and write articles about research work and findings
Help the VA testers to create new test cases, use new tools and perform some "basic" pentest activities
Help the tools team by either performing technical studies and give recommendations for new tools or develop internal tools
Share knowledge, good practices with other Ericsson pentesters
Write detailed reports and present the findings to the internal stakeholders

Key Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in "white box" penetration testing assignments and security research: (online) articles, CVEs, presentations etc.
Very good experience in using various test tools specifically for penetration test activities
Good experience of programming in bash, Linux commands, Python, GO and Erlang
Experience from working in an R&D organization community
Agile, forward leaning, innovative and most importantly "try harder" mindset
Be open to learn and pentest new products, new solutions, new environments and new programming language
Personal values in line with Ericsson core values: Respect, Professionalism, Perseverance and Integrity
Welldeveloped communication skills to perform presentations
Ability to work in a Global organization with teams spread across the world
Good English language skills in both writing and conversation, and additional French language skills are a plus.
OSWE certification (or equivalent) is a plus that we will consider
