**Votre rôle et vos missions**:
The Group Ceded Reinsurance department has the following missions:

- Define the AXA Group's reinsurance strategy,
- Analyze the risks of the hedged portfolios,
- Protect the balance sheet of Group entities,
- Secure the insurance operations of the Group's subsidiaries,
- Implement solutions that optimize the Group's internal capacities and risk transfers on external markets.

**Dimensions**:
For the Mature Markets entities, the spend on reinsurance varies from about 50 M€ to 270 M€ in reinsurance premium. The reinsurance programs are made up of anywhere between 10 and 20 treaties

**Core activities**:

- Lead the identification of reinsurance structures to protect the results and balance sheet of the entities in scope, and to optimize the value retained by AXA SA
- Analyze the portfolios to be reinsured
- Define and ensure that relevant actuarial, legal etc studies are carried out with the respective teams at the entity and at AXA SA outside of renewal season
- Carry out an analysis of the economic and financial situation of the reinsurance market
- Negotiate the treaty price with the market and ensure treaty placement
- Prepare calls for tenders/quotations
- Evaluate bids/quotes submitted by reinsurers
- Debrief with cedants and define a price to ensure competitivity and placeability of the program
- Leverage the existing AXA relationships with the market
- Develop the treaty contractual documents and ensure the most favorable/optimal coverage
- Identify key wordings issues for each renewal
- Discuss and obtain entity feedback and ultimately buy-in
- Collaborate with the AXA SA legal team, as well as the legal teams of brokers
- Negotiate with the reinsurers, identify blocking points and propose solutions to overcome them
- Evaluate bids/quotes submitted by reinsurers
- Contribute to global relationships with brokers and reinsurers with whom the AXA Group works
- Maintain constant contact with the market - reinsurers and brokers
- Ensure good relationships
- Monitor the performance of existing treaties
- Use existing profitability reports to be aware of the profitability of the programs in scope and understand the drivers of this profitability
- Provide technical assistance to back-office teams
- Manage contractual waivers
- Understand the stakes/issues related to the largest claims

**Experience**:

- BAC+5 in Insurance, Actuarial, Finance or Legal
- 2-3 years of experience in insurance or reinsurance - in underwriting, actuarial, finance, legal or claims
