    About the company

    Profitable InsurTech company in Paris, surpassing the VC funding phase which offers risk management solutions for the insurance sector.

    Having initially joined the Lloyd's Lab in London and subsequently being based in Paris, the team currently assists over 25 clients in providing insurance coverage for all critical commercial sectors such as Property, Energy, Political Risk, Trade Credit, Cyber, Casualty, and Terrorism. The objective is to assist (re)insurers in enhancing their risk analysis capabilities and making informed decisions.

    The company has a significant global presence in both the UK and US markets. They've recorded substantial growth, increasing the number of staff from 4 to 15 over 2 years, to establish itself as the leading platform for risk management.

    About the role

    • Enhance and maintain the existing cloud infrastructure while assisting the development team in scaling the application.
    • Ensure the app's security.
    • Implement monitoring of infrastructure and enhance service performance through optimisation.
    • Ensure the quality of the various releases

    About you

    • Bachelor's and Master's in Computer science or Engineering from a top science/tech French university
    • Experience as a DevOps engineer in a data platform team
    • Experience working on the infrastructure of a B2B data platform using kubernetes
    • Fluent in English

    Preferable to have

    • Startup experience
    • Experience working on a B2B product
    • Experience in scrum methodology

    Tech Skills

    • GCP ( GKE,Network stack, Dataproc,...) (AWS experience will be considered)
    • Docker, Helm, Kubernetes
    • Infra as Code: Terraform
    • Code versioning: Git
    • Database technology: PostgreSQL, Redis
    • Python
    • Preferable assets: knowledge in big data architecture (using spark, airflow etc...), knowledge of API development in Python, Code quality tools.
