About the job
Act as EU Sr.

Buyer Logistics by contributing to the category strategy definition for Pallet and for Warehousing while ensuring implementation across all the clusters in Europe for the 3 product categories (EDP, SN, Waters).

You will negotiate supply agreements, lead regional tenders and support local initiatives, supplier innovation, cost reduction programs and Market Risk Management, Rolling Forecast, Supplier Relationship Management.

In this role you are also the Logistics Procurement Single Point of Contact for the Supply Chain Leaders and part of the EU C&P Logistics leadership team.

Productivity is a key component for Danone in order to maximize efficiencies and deliver significant levels of savings through a combination of Sourcing and Demand Management, using a proven ZBB (Zero-Based Budgeting) methodology.

You are also a key contributor to the Pallet and for the Warehousing categories in the region and ensures the identification and supervision of the delivery of local savings and the spend challenge on an ongoing basis.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

Build and share market analysis at regional level taking into account global / regional Logistics category guidance and business context.
Define Europe Regional Category Strategy and Go to Market strategy.
Execute Request For Quotation (RFQ), manage tenders process and negotiations in coordination with CBU's and C&P Europe & Global team.
Propose and implement action plans to manage supply & quality risks.
Develop and share market intelligence / drivers, supplier knowledge, new technologies, innovation/opportunities.
Optimize supplier portfolio according to strategy.
Negotiate contracts and supply agreements and ensure implementation in all CBUs.
Measure supplier performance through internal processes.
Guarantee category performance: risk management, suppliers capacity, quality, Total Cost, security of supply, sustainability program.
Manage C&P DanGo Compliance for the cluster for Logistics category and contribute to the knowledge development of the procurement team
Leads Regional Pallet & Warehousing Categories Procurement
Maintains ongoing connection with Europe & Global Logistics category teams
Supports top programs' delivery within category in the region

About you

You have at least 7 years experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain, in industry or FMCG's firms, with a last job as Procurement Manager, Senior Buyer or Warehouse Manager for example.

Qualified purchasing competencies from international association would be preferred (such as MCIPS)
