Business Overview:


FERNOX LTD

Job Purpose:


  • Responsibility for commercial activities in France
  • Sales target to be agreed for Fernox France and for the 3 subregions
  • Direct sales responsibility for the region South France
  • Responsibility for regional and allocated national merchants
  • Monthly reporting and forecasting
  • Management of Fernox Sales French Team (2 persons)
  • Home based (living within reasonable distance from our Lyon office)

Impact of position
Through the (Regional Director Benelux - France) leadership and his own endeavors:

  • Increase turnover/margin by gaining new accounts/customers.
  • Maintain our obligations to our customer base
  • Increase the sales revenue/margin from our existing customer base by broadening the range and increasing the quantities of products they buy or use.
  • Further develop the awareness of water treatment in the domestic and commercial heating market
  • Attack and defend against the competitors in the market
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Fernox Marketing Plan
  • Contribute to the development of new products

Responsibilities:

With the support of the Fernox team and under the guidance of the Regional Director Benelux - France: Implement the strategy and quarterly actions, perform quarterly reviews to cover:

  • Progress with strategy and territory plans/OEM's / contractor and LA/HA prospects
  • Agree and select new prospects -Manage Atlas CRM system -Support the sales budgeting process and budget forecast,Top 50 French customers/targets
- build an association with them
  • Support sales team in converting key prospects
  • OEMS
  • Build relationships with key managers with the major OEMS'.
Implement selling strategy for domestic and commercial water treatment products to designated merchants /distributorsInfluence end users/original equipment manufacturers and contractor/specifier markets to ensure the use of Fernox products and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify new customers /opportunities
  • Liaise with the relevant sales office and field colleagues on any technical assistance required by the client
  • Build /maintain effective customer relationships
  • Coordinate and complete weekly call plans/ records, monthly reports and administrative documentation
  • Provide feedback on customer business development, competitor activity and product/ service performance
  • Assist collating sales forecasts and budgets.

  • Requirements & Qualifications:


    • Bachelor or Master in Business discipline
    • Preferably with sales experience within the heating merchant market in France, with basic knowledge of chemistry, heating / water treatment market an advantage, or different sectors with good commercial skills, attitude.
    • Experience of negotiations with national buying groups
    • Living within reasonable distance from our Lyon office
    • Native French speaker with fluent English
    • Good communication skill
    • Good organizational skill
    • Teamwork
    • PC knowledge (Sales Force Atlas CRM, Power BI, Excel etc)
