    Role Overview

    As CFO, you will be instrumental in shaping our financial strategy and operations across Europe, particularly as we gear up for a mini-IPO/STO in 2026/2027. Your expertise will also be pivotal in fostering relationships with investors and managing the fundraising efforts vital for our expansion and technological advancement.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Financial Leadership: Oversee all financial operations of the organization in Europe, ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
    • Strategy Implementation: Work closely with the CEO and other executives to refine and implement strategic financial initiatives, including automation and system improvements.
    • Investor Relations: Act as the primary liaison with investors, managing ongoing investor communications and new fundraising initiatives.
    • Operational Oversight: Ensure the integrity of financial operations through regular review and optimization of internal controls and procedures.
    • Fundraising Leadership: Drive efforts for our upcoming mini-IPO/STO, preparing the organization for public offering and managing related financial strategies.
    • Community Engagement: Represent Hubbers at financial events, seminars, and other public venues, enhancing our visibility and network within the financial community.
    • System Integration: Lead the integration of payment flows and automation with the accounting and financial systems, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

    Qualifications

    Educational Background:

    • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional certifications in Accounting or Financial Management (e.g., CPA, CFA) are highly desirable.

    Professional Experience:

    • Minimum of 10 years in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a technology-driven, startup, or non-profit sector.
    • Proven experience in financial management and fundraising within the startup ecosystem, demonstrating successful capital acquisition and financial growth strategies.

    Technical Skills:

    • Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
    • Proficiency in integrating financial systems with advanced payment platforms and accounting software.
    • Familiarity with blockchain technologies and a comprehensive understanding of legal jurisdictions relevant to financial operations.
    • Legal and Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of European financial regulations and legal frameworks. Experience in preparing companies for IPOs or STOs, including knowledge of public offering processes and requirements.

    Leadership and Communication:

    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively negotiating with and presenting to stakeholders, including board members, investors, and regulatory bodies.
    • Experience managing multicultural teams and navigating cross-cultural interactions.
    • Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining strong investor relationships.

    Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving:

    • Ability to develop and implement strategic financial initiatives that align with organizational goals. Skilled in identifying risks and opportunities, making strategic decisions under pressure.
    • Cultural Competence: Experience working in a multicultural environment and ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders. Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus, particularly French, given the location.

    Commitment to Sustainability:

    • Passion for sustainability and a demonstrated commitment to advancing environmental and social goals within the business context.

    High command of written and spoken English a must. Other European languages highly appreciated.
