The&Partnership and Toyota


The&Partnership was appointed by Toyota in 2016, to consolidate their pan-European advertising, digital, content and media buying - setting up a bespoke network of dedicated agencies in all the business's key locations across Europe.


The&Partnership network of dedicated Toyota agencies will support Toyota's transition towards a new, more integrated, digital and customer-centric business model - rebuilding its brand strategy around how people consume media and buy cars today.

The role
We are looking for an experienced Media Account Director in France to work across our Toyota client. Must have experience of similar roles in agencies, and at least 8 years' experience in the advertising industry. Previous automotive advertising experience would be helpful, but not mandatory.


Working with the local Client team and EMEA, you will help the team accomplish challenging goals and objectives, balancing client, company, and team priorities.


  • Build and maintain client and agency relationships at a Senior level.
  • Deliver media recommendations to clients.
  • Deliver best in class touchpoint strategies and planning responses.
  • Effectively use data to build strong, succinct and data driven planning recommendations geared towards delivering growth for the clients businesses.
  • Champions the use of T&P planning tools, inspiring creativity and innovative solutions to deliver growth for clients.
  • Create well thought through decks which requires mínimal input from colleagues to make it 'client ready'.
  • Collaborate with and effectively brief activation teams in order to create holistic media recommendations.
  • Be the central point of contact for client comms, and coordination of incampaign and postcampaign actions.
  • Prioritise the workload of the team, ensuring all client requirements are met in a timely, professional and efficient manner.
  • Coordinate relationship with the T&P hub (based in London) & validate recommendations are aligned with briefs & Client's expectations
  • Aid the Client Lead with tasks such as forecasting, reviewing SLAs, completing endofyear reviews, etc.
  • Leading your team and keep people motivated and engaged, ensuring a training, development and feedback programm is in place for Managers/Executives
  • Actively participate in new business projects and pitches.

Skills required

  • Proven leadership skills, being able to organize and motivate both your immediate team and wider, including implementation specialists
  • Strong communication skills, conveying credible confidence when dealing with key clients and internal stakeholders
  • Good understanding of performance best practice; whilst each account is brand led, conversion and acquisition KPI's are also a key component
  • Great story telling skills to give our ideas and thinking the best chance to come to life for our clients
  • Fluent english
