The 6-month internship program starts in July 2023 and begins with an introduction to Citi and the Public Affairs team.

You will then join a team where you will gain a real-hands on experience by working on a number of live projects.


Your time here will look something like this...


You will contribute to the daily operations of the Global Public Affairs (GPA) department for the countries of France, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.


You will get hands on experience working on:
Communications

  • Drafting internal and external communication material, including press releases for the media, communication material targeting employees and customers, Powerpoint presentations, speeches or materials for Citi's global portals and publications
  • Management of corporate websites and social media
  • Creating country fact sheets
Community Programs and Volunteer Activities

  • Managing and monitoring community projects in partnership with local & regional NGOs and Citi Foundation
  • Contributing to company culture and finding innovative ways to engage employees such as organizing volunteer days, further developing diversity networks, launching new initiatives and sponsorship programmes
Client and employee engagement

  • Organizing internal and external events (seminars, client events, dinners )
  • Engaging with the Citi Alumni Network

We want to hear from you if...

  • You are currently enrolled in a university that can provide an internship agreement (Graduation Year 2023)
  • You have a strong academic background in communications/marketing.
  • You are available to start in July 202
  • You are fluent in English both written and oral (which will be your working language).

Who we think will be a great fit...
We're looking for motivated individuals, who are eager to learn and experience working in global organization.

We'll also be looking for the following:

  • You are able to work under pressure and to handle multiple tasks.
  • You have a good work attitude.
  • You are handson and proactive.
  • You are eager to learn.
  • You have advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • A good level in French is recommended and additional languages beneficial but not essential.
