Context of Need
The John Cockerill group manufactures and supplies water electrolysis equipment for hydrogen production. John Cockerill develops integrated solutions including power supply, water treatment, compressor and H2 storage, hydrogen refuelling station.


To support the development of the Hydrogen Business Line and in particular its Supply Chain department, John Cockerill is looking for a Supply Chain Replenisher.

The role may evolve according to the business need.

The Supply Chain Replenisher will report to the MRP Controller for the Hydrogen Business.

Replenisher - Main Tasks

  • Maintain and updates SAP Parameters & analyze the list of purchase requisitions generated by the system
  • Optimize if possible consolidate shipment, etc.)
  • Convert purchase requests into purchase order for contractual service and materials
  • Daily Follow up of supplier confirmations and delivery dates
  • Send proactive reminders regarding deliveries. Expediting/de expediting until a certain level of impact (frozen zone plant shutdown)
  • According to the problems encountered review delivery lead times with suppliers for the best of both parties
  • Have a good knowledge of the suppliers' work in progress and their manufacturing process
  • Adjust PO's delivery schedule to ensure dates are correctly reported in the planning information system.
  • Ensure correct levels of stock to realize production plan.
  • Search & propose alternative solutions in case of production impact due to delay/quality/quantity issue in order to assure the plant's supply.
  • Inform MRP Controller/Scheduler to reschedule if no possible to bring delivery date on track.
  • Feedback to the purchasing department on problems encountered with contractual suppliers.
  • Interface, through regular meetings, with production, purchasing, quality and engineering in order to ensure the progress of the internal production of equipment and to ensure the ontime delivery of components.
