Your 'day to day'


As a Strategy & Program Delivery (S&PD) Manager, you will support the development and execution of strategy and governance, lead portfolio management, and collaborate with partners to perform data collection, analysis and reporting, long-range planning, and decision-making.


You will also establish & enable organizational change platforms and programs (e.g., transition to PBO) for key customers while building the organization's capabilities to transform business needs.


Your key responsibilities include:

Help shape strategies for Philip Morris France:

  • Contribute to the creation of multi-category strategies. Examples might include strategic studies to identify opportunities, analysis of trends, assessing growth drivers, and defining must-win-battles that contribute to the creation of market's strategic roadmap;
  • Driving OGSM preparation, cascade, tracking and performance management. In particular, supporting the development and finalization of market leaders' OGSMs, providing necessary guidance to management so that key parts of market OGSM are cascaded consistently across the business, tracking market OGSM's performance, and proposing actions with key stakeholders on an ongoing basis.

Drive regular review of the business' project portfolio:

  • Ensure that Philip Morris France's project portfolio is fully in-line with what needs to be executed for delivering market strategy and providing the impact required to achieve market's OGSMs;
  • Challenge and define resource allocation based on key strategic priorities and conduct regular reviews of resource allocation across market's project portfolio.
  • Scope, drive and manage key strategic projects for our business leaders and in alignment with Philip Morris France strategy.
Examples might include commercial initiatives and business model development, new businesses or new market entry, growth hacking and profitability improvements:


  • Drive endtoend strategic project design and execution (briefing, scoping, timelines, streams results, steering committee updates, stakeholder management), solving core business problems for functions/markets/regions/business category;
  • Lead intellectual agenda, structure, and drive complex problem solving as core part of the strategy project;
  • Drive the execution by mastering factbased analyses, financials, competitive intelligence, consumer insights, route to market insights and by identifying, and facilitating recommendations to achieve optimal solutions;
  • Get buy in on recommendations and translate strategic choices into actions by communicating and pitching to a large set of key stakeholders, with synthesis and with a bias for action.

Foster competitive intelligence:
Collect and analyze data and intelligence on competitors from various sources. Develop insights and work with the market management team to adjust market's strategies, pricing, project portfolio, resource allocation, etc.

Critical Capabilities


  • Outstanding strategic thinking, problem-solving and analytics capabilities, united to a proven track record of scoping and delivering complex strategy projects requiring senior stakeholders' management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability and passion to drive change in large and complex organizations and ability to manage ambiguity, delivering under uncertainty


Entrepreneurial, biased to action and roll-up-your-sleeves mindset with a high degree of assertiveness and independence, balanced with maintaining highly collaborative and agile ways of working, able to facilitate team meetings and drive tangible outcomes, motivating a diverse and international team of stakeholders.
