We are looking for a skilled and team-focused Developer to come join our team.Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- You participate to the daily standup meetings to share progress and discuss with your peers
- You understand the user stories and technical requirements that are assigned to you
- You define the best strategy to turn these requirements into a wellorganized piece of source code
- You write the code and associated unit tests to reach the goal
- You provide a software build to the testers and collaborate with them to make sure the requirements are fully met
- You prepare and organize demonstration of your work to the various stakeholders (product owner, technical leader, etc)
- You interact with support teams to help them answering to customer requests when an expertise is needed
Signs of success:
- You contribute to the successful delivery of projects and enhancements
- You suggest technical improvements to the squad product owner and technical leader
- You support the continuous improvement process and propose your own measures
- You ensure the continuous integration chain is always running and building properly the software components that you are responsible for
- You actively support and participate in the implementation of Agile, DevOps and continuous integration processes
Skills we can't do without:
- Engineer or university degree in software engineering or information technology
- At least 5 years of experience in software development
- Expertise in Java, Swift and C# and keen to learn new programming languages
- Knowledge of Android and iOS development environments: Android Studio and XCode
- Scripting (bash & python): able to write scripts to ease your daytoday tasks
- Good knowledge of software management tools (Git, Puppet) and continuous integration tools (Gitlab)
- Deliver high quality software components (unit tests, testdriven development)
- Knowledge of development practices in Agile SCRUM context
- Knowledge in electronic payment processing
- Good level in English and French (both oral and written)
