Business Unit and Team


Within Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking division (SGCIB), the Asset-Backed Products (ABP) platform groups together the different parts of the securitisation chain (structuring, financing, distribution and trading).

ABP's Financial Institutions Structuring group provides financial institutions with asset-backed solutions for financing, liquidity and risk management purposes, with a particular focus on:

  • Capital markets (ABS transactions),
  • Principal financing (including ABCP conduit financing)
  • Private secured funding and repo transactions.
SGCIB is a leader on the European securitisation market (#2 in IFR's Global Securitisation Euros excl. CDO league tables in 2019).


Your role


As part of the ABP front officers' team located in Paris, your role will consist in assisting the Financial Institutions Structuring team in the origination, structuring and risk monitoring of transactions.

You will interact with other ABP team members located in main European Financial places (London, Milan, Frankfort) as well as other parties involved in the securitisation activities (including rating agencies, clients, lawyers).


Main tasks will include:

  • Portfolio data analysis;
  • Market research and analysis (European ABS, rating agencies methodologies);
  • Provide assistance for the preparation of marketing materials used for clients pitching;
  • Cash flow modelling (internal credit files and ABS rating process);
  • Support for the transaction monitoring;
  • Contribute to the improvement of inhouse modelling tools and database.

Profile required:


Your profile

  • Excellent knowledge of English, both oral and written. Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage
  • Strong analytical ability when assessing data/analyzing risks and quantitative skills
  • Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint (knowledge of VBA is a plus but not a requirement)
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • You ideally have a previous experience in a bank or financial institution
